Privacy Policy

Live Photo Cleaner is designed with privacy at its core. Here's what we DO NOT collect:

• Your photos or images
• Your photo library metadata
• Your location data
• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Your usage patterns or app analytics
• Your iCloud or Apple ID information
• Any personally identifiable information (PII)

All photo processing happens entirely on your device:

• Local Processing Only: When you convert Live Photos to JPEGs, all conversion happens locally on your iPhone. No photos are ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.
• No Cloud Storage: We don't use any cloud storage services to store your photos.
• No Photo Transfer: Your photos never leave your device—not even temporarily.
• Photo Library Access: The app only accesses your photo library to read Live Photos and save converted JPEGs. This access is controlled entirely by iOS permissions, and you can revoke it at any time in Settings.

To improve app stability and fix bugs, we use Sentry, a third-party error tracking service. Here's what Sentry collects:

• Crash Reports: When the app crashes or encounters an error, Sentry automatically logs technical information about the error (error messages, stack traces, device model, iOS version).
• No Personal Data: Sentry does NOT collect your photos, photo metadata, names, emails, or any personally identifiable information.
• Anonymous: All error reports are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
• Purpose: This data helps us identify and fix bugs to improve app performance for all users.

We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, cookies, or advertising networks. We don't track:

• Which features you use
• How often you open the app
• How many photos you convert
• Your screen views or taps
• Your device information (beyond what iOS provides for basic compatibility)

Live Photo Cleaner does not display advertisements or integrate any third-party advertising networks. The only third-party service we use is Sentry for error tracking (see above).

Since we don't collect your data, we have nothing to share. Specifically:

• No Selling: We will never sell your data to anyone.
• No Sharing: We will never share your data with third parties (except anonymous error reports to Sentry as described above).
• No Marketing: We will never use your data for marketing purposes.
• Legal Requests: Since we don't collect or store your data, we have nothing to provide even if legally requested.

Live Photo Cleaner requires access to your photo library to function. Here's what you need to know:

• iOS Controls Access: Your photo library access is controlled entirely by iOS. The app can only access photos if you grant permission.
• Read and Write Only: The app requests permission to read Live Photos and write converted JPEG images back to your library.
• Revoke Anytime: You can revoke photo library access at any time in Settings > Privacy > Photos > Live Photo Cleaner.
• No Remote Access: The app cannot access your photos remotely or when not in use.

Live Photo Cleaner does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we don't collect data from anyone—regardless of age—our app is safe for users of all ages. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
